Feminist Jukebox II | 01.12.2018

As I keep receiving emails from disappointed people who missed out on getting a Feminist Jukebox print after it sold out at the RA Summer Exhibition 2018(!), I decided to create Feminist Jukebox II - same women, different jukebox.

The point all along has been to celebrate and talk about all the trailblazing women who feature on the jukebox, so I couldn't be happier that the new incarnation can carry on the job. Plus this one is available in a bigger size of A2 as well as A3.

Find out more about the story behind Feminist Jukebox. It all started with Sister Rosetta Tharpe...

I wanted to big up some of the most iconic female musicians there have been, talk about them, listen to them, and celebrate them.

Read more about the original Feminist Jukebox here, including how I chose who made it onto the jukebox, and how the Suffragettes influenced the picture.
